I am a yoga teacher here in the beautiful Douglas Yoga Centre.
The greatest learning for me during my yoga teacher training was becoming conscious of my breath.
I see yoga practice as a wonderful opportunity to press pause on our to-do lists and take time to look inwards and pay loving attention to ourselves, to how we’re feeling emotionally and physically. Moving with our breath creates a beautiful, nourishing rhythm for our body, mind and soul, while building strength, flexibility and balance. I love to finish our yoga practice with some relaxation, consciously releasing any tension we may be holding and allowing our bodies sink into the mat, feeling held, soothed and present to the moment. I teach yoga on Friday mornings at 9:15am-10:30am and would love to see you there.
I am also a Relationship Mentor and Podcaster and I teach a 6-week healing ‘Relationship Wellbeing’ programme in the tranquil Douglas Yoga Centre. I am passionate about the power of healing our relationships, through practising self-awareness, owning our feelings and communicating consciously. This practise has transformed my life and the relationships in my life, as a mum, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend and a teacher. Most significantly my relationship with myself has become far more loving & compassionate and this has positively impacted every other relationship in my life. I teach this programme on 6 consecutive Saturday afternoons, 2:00pm – 5:00pm and would love to see you there.
